I would like to move my existing boundary wall approximately 4.5m closer to the street (to the boundary of my erf) to enlarge the inside yard space. I have existing building plans (hard copy and scanned version - attached), but the quality is not great and the drawings are quite old. I would like to apply at the municipality to move my existing wall to the proposed position, but not sure if this can be done by indicating it on the old building plans, or if new plans need to be drawn up. I would like to request a quote, either way. My erf is approximately m2. The main building, a 3 bedroom townhouse is approximately 85m2. The second building is approximately 60m2, a double garage and small living quarters.
80th Birthday party for 50 guests. Valentine theme. We have tables and chairs, but wish you to quote on that as well. A self-service for finger food and maybe a bulk lasagne or similar. must be a mix of savoury and sweet pastries and 8 cakes: 2 each of Carrot Cake, Milk tart, Baked Cheesecake and Melva Pudding and Custard. We will supply cool drinks, tea and coffee.
I was recently made aware that the carport which was built next to my house by the previous owner was not updated on the building plan, nor did they get approval for it. The building inspector informed me that they consider it to be a garage, not a carport, because it is attached to the boundary wall and my original garage and has a door in front, effectively enclosing it on 3 sides. I therefore have to have the drawing updated. I have indicated it on the original building plans for your information. The house is in a complex, and is zoned as Res 2. The carport in question is approximately 36m².
This job comprises creating architect plans and the gaining of planning permission for the two alterations showing in the attachments. The first comprises the construction of two additional en suite bedrooms over a garage. The latter comprises the construction of a basement done underneath the existing patio with an office space underneath the current dwelling.
I have rough drawings of what I want to achieve. I also have contractors ready to do the work. I would like to determine if the changes are possible in terms of removing walls and creating on open plan living space. I would also like assistance with getting the building plans approved so construction can commence.

My dad is having a small 60th birthday. The theme is Western/Country, and we want to keep things simple, but tasteful. His wishes are that it be held in his family church building in Wetton (not sure exactly where, but will get details this week) which can take up to 80 people (although we are only inviting 50 guests or less). Although we'd prefer a plated event, we're mindful of the fact that the church does not have a kitchen from which your team may use to cook/reheat food, only a side hall that they use for other smaller functions (this will be ideal for the catering set up). So we're likely to opt for a buffet-styled event. There are two seating styles we are looking at: either banquet style where long tables will be set up in a U-shape or round tables with 10 persons seated per table. This is largely dependent on the interior of the building itself, which I'm inspecting later this week. For now, I need to know what packages/costs we are looking at for catering, and more or less what are our options from a food perspective within a range of budgets - so that I can discuss them with my siblings. Kind regards,
I am looking at costing for additions/alterations to my existing house. The additions should be approximately 70sqm. I need a 4th bedroom added and my main bedroom extended. This is an Old Town House. I need to add more cupboards and in order to do so need the bedroom extended by 0.5 meters extended for the addition of cupboards. My idea is that the current kitchen be turned into a bedroom and add in another kitchen. I have many ideas and need a professional Architect to advise what can or cannot be done which is within my budget as well.
