Thanks for your help! I was choosing between roll up and sectional garage doors and with the help of one of your companies, I chose sectional ones and I’m really happy with my decision. I hope they continue to serve me well for a long time to come.
The garage door provider delivered and installed the doors I chose within a week, his team was professional and really skilled. The price was ok too.
I was interested in comparing offers for sectional garage doors in Centurion and I’m happy to say that through Procompare, I received 5 offers in just 2 days. The company I chose was friendly, professional, and helpful. They’ve just installed my doors so I can’t really give my final opinion, but so far, they’re functioning perfectly.
Insulated garage doors have many advantages: they save energy, they are more durable, quieter and they protect your car and belongings better. It is especially advisable to get insulated garage doors if your garage is attached to your house.
First, measure the width of the opening at the widest point. Next, measure the height of the opening at the highest point. Then, you need to measure the width of the areas beside the openings, the area between the top of the door opening and the ceiling and finally, measure the distance from the opening to the rear of the garage or nearest obstruction. You should also note if there are any lights, pipes, ductwork or anything else in the way.
We suggest you do a visual inspection of your garage doors regularly - see if everything is in place and works as it should. If there are any loose hardware, tighten them. Every six months, apply a small amount of spray lubricant to the door’s hinges, rollers and tracks. If you have a wooden door, you should apply wood oil to your garage doors once a year.
Both roll up and sectional garage door offer good insulation, but since sectional door is continuous, not interlinked, it does provide a more reliable, measurable U-value compared to roller doors, and will likely be the better option if you plan to use your garage for leisure on a regular basis.
Good Day We already have an automated garage door. The problem is that the rubbers on the sides of the door is warned out. Please advise whether the door can have the rubbers replaced or should I need a new garage door fitted. If so please be so kind as to give me a quotation for whichever. Hoping to hear from you soon. Thanking you
Good day, I would like to to have the bottom panel of my garage door replaced as it has become damaged over the years. The top two panels are still fine. I also need 3 x new remote controls for my garage door. I got them when I had the doors installed originally, so they are many years old. See attached. Thank you, René.
1/ Looking for a new (or reconditioned) single Tip Up steel garage door. Price supply only (The current one i have, the corrugated front is badly rusted although the actual working frame is not to bad.) 2/Also need replacement wheels x 2 for single tip up garage door I would like the door to be steel or Fribre glass.
I live in a complex where the color code is green for g/doors. I had the original two single doors removed as I had to heighten them to accommodate my bakkie, which has a heightened suspension and removed the center column. At the same time, I had a through door put in which needs a door. It, too, is higher than standard.sizes. Are you able to accommodate me. PS I would prefer the main door to be sectional if that is possible of arrangement.
Hi, I just need a basic amount so I can do my budget. The building was a garage but was converted into a studio with a door and windows and I would like to make it a garage again. It can be a double door or two single doors with automation (I have a device that must be added so it can work with my home assistant). So the door and windows need to be removed and the garage door(s) must be installed. There is power available for automation.
I have a, currently installed, fixed Single door which is motorised although the motor has packed up. I have been wanting to get a quote to replace it all with an automated roller / roll-up Door instead. "the Pro" can discuss options with me - There may be a good reason to stick with the current door. I'm open to suggestions.
Good Day I am looking for a supplier or quotation on a double garage Aluminium door with automation. I would prefer a sectioned door that opens up and over the car apposed to a tip up door please advise on colors and if there is a wood grain finish available on aluminium doors we look forward to your reply. Many thanks and best regards. .
Hi, I’d like to get quotes to automate an existing roll-up garage door in Jeffreys Bay. It is a single (not double) garage. There is a possibility that the door itself will need to be replaced so can you also provide a separate price to replace the door as this cost will be paid by the property’s owner.
Hi there, sorry for the late message but I just got home now and while closing my garage door my door motor made a tear in my top panel of my sectional door. I would like to have the 5 panels replaced please. Sizes are as follows: 4m x mm per panel and there are 5 panels in total. Preferably a dark color if possible (Dark oak is the current color) Will you give me a quote to supply and fit the 5 panels only please Awaiting your response Regards Johnston
We want to have a motor installed for my mother's garage door which is currently operated manually. We want to do this if possible without having to replace the garage door, as she lives in a complex where all the garages need to look the same. Please let us know what the cost would be and whether it is possible to do it like this.
