How to get building plan approval in South Africa?
What you have to do to get the permit and where to start.
We are looking to renovate and redesign our home. Ideally we want a designer to source and execute the interior design to suit our needs and budget.
Ground floor plan. 6 bedrooms , 3 sharing, 3 en-suites with own sliding doors. Main b/r door facing main entrance/ hall, guest toilet. Open plan tv room and kitchen, scullery next laundry, dinning room and lounge with sliding and windows, double garage with entrance to kitchen, main b/r with own patio sharing with tv patio. Dimensions is 40mx 80m
I'd like to explore costs with helping me update my lounge/kitchen area: 1) Right paint colour for lounge / kitchen area. 2) How to lighten dark furniture in room by mixing - all furniture is dark 3) Artwork for lounge walls -make it feel more homely 4) Suggesting and updating lighting fixtures 5) Updating lounge curtains - advice on if I can modernise them without having to buy new ones? 6) Storage options
Approximately 15m to the back and 5m wide onto existing house. 3 rooms main with en suite and 1 bathroom.
We want to make our current garage building (separate from main house) a double story. We want to put in a wood floor because we think that a cement slap will be to expensive? Current building has a flat roof. Bathroom must be included.
4 rooms to be added each of these rooms are going to be like a studio apartment , these will have a small bathroom and kitchen and dressing room
20 Bachelor rooms , each room will have a en suite small kitchen . This will be a double story 10 rooms on top and 10 at he bottom .
