I have an existing house with 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 Kitchen and one Bathroom. I have recently bought another house and would like to put this one on Air BNB but my concern is that the rooms are very small and it’s design is not suitable for Air BNB with all rooms sharing one bathroom. Therefore l would like to extend the house and possibly add Rooms to be Four all en-suites. The back yard is also big enough to make 3 more ensuits and would like to do them. I would then need someone who can refine the design so that it can match the standards of a good Air BNB.
I wish to inquire about the possibility of getting a plan drafted for a contemporary loft apartment (80 square meters, full bathrooms for downstairs and loft area, dark grey color pallet with a bold industrial character). Good day, We are the managing Agent group for a property in Wellington, SA. There are Three Units on this yard. Two of the Units have reported maintenance issues. Can you please assist with quotes on the following issues. Quotes needed from 3 x Contractors/Handyman's please. - Unit 1 - separate Quotes for each issue in this Unit. Quote 1.1: Bedroom Light - Light will not turn on. Bedroom Floor/Tiles - Cracked floorboard as well as several soft spots in the floor. Quote 2.1: Bathroom Tap - Once tap is opened it will not shut off. Quote 3.1: Outside Drains - Drain not working. Will not drain as it is higher than the gutter. Filter is not in and cannot be put in. Quote 4.1: Outside Roof - The fascia is rotten under the gutters. Gutters is also broken. - Unit 2 - separate Quotes for each issue in this Unit Quote 1.2 BATRHROOM: Storage cupboard - Door came off and hinges damaged Bathroom door handle - Broken Quote 2.2 ELECTRICITY: The electricity trips each time I put the geyser on - but only if the kettle or microwave was in use. If the kettle or microwave/airfryer is not in use, the electricity does not trip when the geyser is put on.
Good day, I am in the process of considering to buy and renovate a house. There is a few notable changes I would like to consider. The first one is to extend the current garage in order to accommodate a second vehicle. The garage currently is 16,5m squared and the backyard can accommodate the extension. A door will need to be added for courtyard and braai room access. The second change is to revamp the current front wall to accommodate a motorized gate. Not too sure if this will need to get approved or designed by an architect? Third change is to close off an existing sunroom for privacy. The wall will be approximately 4,21m and will need a few windows for sunlight. Fourth change will be to extend the current living area to create a braai room. This will join the tandem garage and will be dependent on the building lines allowed by the building commission / municipality. If all goes well, this change will be approximately 24,6m squared (8,2m x 3m) The fifth and final potential change is to add a scullery. Office revamp. We want a nautical theme given the nature of our business and effective utilization of space etc. and interior design services. I am based in Durban, but the business that needs the interior design is located in Fourways. I will be in Fourways the middle of February, we can set up meetings then. It is not just simple painting that we need, there are quite a few alterations. We need someone to actually see the space first before offering a quote.
I want to break out a wall that's underneath my staircase. The wall is load bearing and I thought I could put a steel beam in it's place as support. I also want to enlarge and already existing square arch but I am not sure how much of the wall I can take off. Then I also want to enlarge my the opening that my sliding is in. I want to enlarge it horizontally (not vertically) - again I am not sure how much of the wall I can take off

Hi, I would like the verge around my property paved if within budget. Im keen on cobblestone pavers, but open to a more budget friendly option. It's hard to keep people from parking on this area, but if they do it's needs to be able to withstand a car. I would like little maintenance on this paving. Currently there is lawn, so in the long run would paving save me money than maintaining a lawn.
