How to get building plan approval in South Africa?
What you have to do to get the permit and where to start.
The remodel is meant to bring the outdoors indoors, optimising one side of the house for indoor gardening and incorporating a courtyard of sorts. At the same time, airflow and transparency (especially in the roof design) will have to be considered so the house (double-story) doesn't become a sauna. I already know what I want the finished product to look like. I prefer email communication, as due to my line of work, I'm often unable to take personal phone calls.
I am looking to build a 3 bedroom house. The master bedroom must have an ensuit. It must have a bathroom, kitchen, open plan lounge and dining room, as well as a double garage. I have attached some pictures as an example of the design I am looking for.
A normal house, 4 bedroom, kitchen, double storey, small flat at the back, close to the pool, sqm.
We are remodeling the whole home on the inside and outside. On the outside we want a more Tuscan aesthetic and on the inside we are looking for an open plan style.
We really want someone to bring our ideas to reality. We recently bought a space and completely broke it down and had it redone so we now have a 4 bedroom space. Now we need help with designing, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, literally everything. We have ideas but need help putting it all together. We need someone who can assist with where to put what, how and where to put cupboards. Basically we just need to know what works and what won't.
We want to add rooms, we want to enlarge the kitchen. We also want to extend existing rooms, the passage, and add bathrooms as well. Lastly we would like to add a dining room as well.

I want to build a log house in already established residential property. I am building a very simple cottage at the back of my daughter's yard and need some assistance. I also need some advice as my daughter no longer has the plans of her home, I therefore need someone to advise me with regards to the regulations and steps forward. I am currently in Port Elizabeth but am looking to build in Port Shepstone.
