Wallpaper vs. Paint: The pros and cons
Choosing between wallpaper and paint is not always easy. Let's look at advantages and disadvantages of both.
Hi I would like a square meter rate for a torch on waterproof. There is existing torch on which is 20 years old, on a flat concrete roof. the square meters is sq/m. I would like a price first so we can see if we can afford it. It's a concrete roof . I am not there this next week, and we working on repairs on our house ,so we can extend our bond. Just need a more or less price. Then when I am back you can come to give me a accurate quote and help with the service.
I recently installed a jojo tank where the builder placed the pipes underneath a concrete slab but the conrete ended up in the pipes thus blocking it. I would like to relay a small portion of the pipe which directly comes out of the jojo tank and also lift the pump by 30cm. We will have to use a angle grinder to get the pump out.
This is a commercial building that needs to be gutted and demolished completely on the inside and new furnishes need to be done including flooring on the whole of the inside and outside areas. This project has a strict timeline and I am requesting that I am able to get access to the building from the 1st of April and I am expecting hand-over by the end of April. Building is approx. sqm in size. I am also going to need the builder to be able to share their contacts to help with the finishes like windows, doors, etc.
I recently had a water break in a wall at my house which since been repaired. however the hole and resultant damage has not. What I need is a builder to repair and plaster the hole, someone to paint the wall and someone to repair and replace a water damaged cupboards and tiles. The hole is small and needs about 10-12 bricks on one side and a patch of about mmxmm on the other (it's a cavity wall). The cupboards are 3x double floor cupboards in Wenge wrap but all 6 doors are not damages, so it's just the carcass that needs replacing. The tiles are about 5-6m of vertical tiles mounted against the foot of the cupboard and possibly 20 or more square meters of floor tiles. the paint could also be around 10 square meters.
Need to close up 2 balconies, 1 large, 1 small, extend the small one to add en suite bathroom. Extend large patio and close up with stacking doors. Also close up small patio. Add bay window above front door (existing slab). I am not completely sure about the square meters of the property, I am open to having someone come out to measure properly in order to give the most accurate quote. Plans have ben approved by council. Front Perimeter wall (segmented by "hip high" columns with a 20mm/maybe more brick upstand linking them - wooden slats - picket fence-esk style). This wall will run to the driveway gate Driveway will run the length of the house to the double garage (this will not be shown on the plans but I thought it was worth mentioning) Double Garage (dimensions of 6mx7m length) in the South East corner situated behind the main bedroom's en-suite - Flat roof, same design as the house - it will need to match the same slope etc. Rear perimeter wall (block is indicated on the plans but vibracrete will most likely be used) connecting the garage to our neighbours vibracrete wall Side perimeter wall on neighbour's boundary line (made of block - "hip high" as well approx 1m) running from the garage down the driveway to driveway gate (building line) Deck - If a separate quote could be provided on the building of a staircase leading to the deck as indicated by the plans Driveway - needs to be leveled and paved, separate quote on this can be provided as well Preferable start would be late April, early May
We have a timber frame house with ship lap cladding. we want to add a granny flat onto the side of the house, and then do some work on our main house, add a pool, add a patio and build stairs. Our house is double storey and we want to add on a unit that is the same style - split level with a small veranda in front and back. We are unsure about the size, but probably between 30 and 50 square metres.
