Which documents do you need for building plans approval?
What kind of forms and documents do you need for the building plans submission and how much will they cost.
I need approved plans to facilitate the sale of my house
Restructure the house, my yard is around sqm, I want to build a double storey and a few cottages etc.
I would like to add to my existing house 3 bedrooms and a kitchen.
I was recently made aware that the carport which was built next to my house by the previous owner was not updated on the building plan, nor did they get approval for it. The building inspector informed me that they consider it to be a garage, not a carport, because it is attached to the boundary wall and my original garage and has a door in front, effectively enclosing it on 3 sides. I therefore have to have the drawing updated. I have indicated it on the original building plans for your information. The house is in a complex, and is zoned as Res 2. The carport in question is approximately 36m².
