Adjusted to the timelines
Needed the plastering work a bit better and the light switch located elsewhere, but they still adjusted to the time.
Owen was punctual, went out of his way to find the problem and did the necessary repairs professionally. I would recommend him to anyone who has an electrical fault. His rates were very reasonable and stuck to his original quote although the job was far bigger than anticipated.
Certainly not. We were very happy with Owens work. Can't find fault with anything he did.

We have a unit that originally had a balcony (1.2m x 4.0m), that the previous owner closed up with hardwood floors. We want to return it into a balcony: remove the windows, return the balcony floor to the original concrete, and install a sliding door again. We already had the wooden floorboards removed, but we need a quote on: - Removal of screed (where the floorboards used to be) - Finishing of the drop / sliding door cill, from the inside of the apartment to the balcony floor (where the sliding door frame will be installed) - Finishing of the balcony floor (smooth concrete, as it was before, is OK) to make sure that any rain will flow to the original draining pipe. - Cleaning of screed/rubble. Please see the attachments. We need measurements and briefing with the sliding door installation company to happen tomorrow (Wed 13 Dec). But we are flexible with the job start time (either this week before Friday or in middle January) For now, we only want a quote on the screed removal / return to concrete flooring / preparation for the sliding door frame. Depending on the quality of the job, we will consider you for the removal of the windows and finishing of the exterior wall (once the sliding door is installed).

The intention is to build a high -end market self catering chalets, roughly 8 three bedroomed with one building(9th structure)serving as the admin quarters. Currently the plot is vacant but a construction company has already been appointed while some administrative necessities are being complied with at Municipal level. The idea is to create a beautiful environment which provides each chalet with necessary privacy and the whole establishment with charming ambience.
I'd like to build a house with a big dining area, large kitchen and one room on the ground flour. Four rooms at the second floor and a rooftop with some sort of covering for shade. Each room should have its own bathroom with basin with shower head. I have a picture that I'd like the house to look similar to, will attach. House should be more than square meters with spaceous rooms. Paving leading to driveway and grass and trees all over the yard. Vacant land/Plot is square meters.
My roof leaks every time that there is heavy rain. If there is continuous light rain, it will not leak. It leaks mostly on the Eastern side, but if the heavy rain continues for a while, then it leaks everywhere in the house. My husband keeps insisting that it is the wind blowing in rain, but even when there is no wind and only heavy rain it will leak.

We would like advise on converting a 4 motor vehicle garage into a 2 bedroom Flatlet. Using the space to its optimal potential and finding ways to cross limitation such as ventilation, natural lighting, heat, going green, privacy, cost saving etc.
Hi I'm looking at buying a small farm near Clarens in the Free State. It's 30.7 hectares. A huge riverine runs through most of it and a small river at the bottom. I'd like the whole thing fenced with game fencing or security fencing that would also act as a game fence. I'm guessing that where the river is at the bottom, that may need to be a type of palisade to easily let the water flow and allow flooding. One gate (maybe two). I live in JHB and can't easily come and show you but I do have some images. How do you quote? Site visit? Per square meter? Looking forward to hearing from you. .
I would like some residential work done. 1. Remove a current chandelier light fitting and replace with a light and fan fitting. 2. Remove a side light fitting - do want to use anymore 3. Check wiring of the above - current chandelier lights tripping 4. Replace one light with another light 5. Fix a faulty light, switches on but goes off after a while.
