Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
It's an existing home in process of selling it just needs a plan for the deal to get through the process of selling. There are no alterations that I want to do.
I am looking to design a 5 bedroom house that I can build in phases. So probably 3 phases based on cash flow. I would like something that has great outdoor entertainment and each room en-suite.
We run a swim school in Durban North which has been running since as a family business. All plans are approved for the premises but we now need to obtain Special Consent and would like a quote on the above please.
