I am wanting to replacing my driveway sliding gate with a new metal wood clad one. The concrete driveway may need some cutting in as the existing system is too high and our vehicle struggles to get over it. Added to the new sliding gate, an additional fence panel will be needed to match which will be attached between the roof structure and the garage wall (seen in photos).

So what I want is to put up a roof and then burglar bars gate to secure my vehicle as I feel it is not very secure by only having the current garage door without a roof. It is a 1 and a half bedroom flat. I would like an evaluation done on the wiring in the kitchen specifically. A certain plug trips the Earth Leakage constantly and I'm concerned that the wiring might not be safe anymore. Also the ceiling light in the kitchen has stopped working.
