Clear IBR (?) sheeting over a section of the garage (two car tunnel) lifted in strong wind. Currently held down by a couple of rocks but needs replacement. Perhaps general inspection of rest of roof would be good idea. Also wooden shelter between Kitchen and Garage which is flat, has bitumised (Laycool) (?) top. which has leak. Am concerned water collecting there could cause wood rot. Hasn't had bitumen redone for a year or two Needs redoing.

the house is a 7.3x7.3m square, with the front wall height 4.2m (all walls cladded with metal sheeting) and the back wall 3m high. the roof is 7.3x7.4m. id like to request a roofing expert or someone with knowledge of flashing and trim, to quote me for the full installation of metal on all four sides of the building, the roof, and a 7.3x3m lean to stoep roof. the site is in de rust, and doesnt have access to electricity. will need battery operated machines for roofing.

I now live in an old farm house in which the carpets are very old and very stinky. I have a budget. I got a quote for vinyl flooring with skirting amd sealant and self-leveling, but it's too far above my budget. I'm willing to do laminate and see what's the best quote I can get. I wanted sealant because there seems to be water coming in, but we've sealed the roof and the courtyards where there's water build up during rain.

The extension will be double story, m² more or less in total. Upstairs about 49m² and down stairs about 49m² with a stoep and balcony. We want to break down a wall in our current lounge and extend it to make a new lounge (old lounge will become dining area) This will be downstairs and will lead onto a stoep. Upstairs would include a main bedroom, bathroom and small study and balcony. Stairs would run from the new lounge area upwards. I will be getting architectural drawings done in February, we will send them to you once we have them for a more accurate quote but would appreciate a good estimate of the cost in the mean time so I can also look into getting financing from the bank.
