My wife and I bought a new house and need assistance furnishing and styling the new living room / lounge space. We would like to purchase new furniture, so you wouldn’t need to incorporate anything we own currently. Attached are the pics of the current owners setup, so that you can get an idea of the space.
Be your self
Good afternoon We are busy with a new development and would like to run a promotion whereby investor can get a free interior design consultation and a furniture voucher if the purchase a unit in the month of August. We will pay for the service and present the voucher to the client. Could you please give me a call to discuss your fees and if you would be willing to parktake in the promotion?
Eish...I'm not sure if my initial request will get to the same person. I asked for an architect but I really need someone to help with design/outlining a bathroom, a walk in cupboard as well as an overview of an old house. Most of the interior is solid but we'd like to give them an upgrade/modern feel.
Painting of kitchen cupboards, change of counter tops and space for microwave. New blinds with curtain railings. Bathroom vanity - still old basin Painting the entire flat https://altiru-trust.redrabbit.app/inspection/AHDYGB1Xts9QfoJ6?signature=f40ec9a3f04cde9bfe6de6a33ebfe85dacfc3dfd67d
We recently bought a house that has quite a lot of dark wood and creamy colours - the outside gives a Tuscan feel. I am completely out of depth as I naturally resonate with colder colours and am a typical "sad, gray Millenial" that likes white, beige and variants of gray. Looking for guidance on how to incorporate some existing furniture, addition of new, as well as ideas for paint, decor and colour in general (would I benefit more from adding sage to my dark wood and cream kitchen, should I go for blue and white China or stick to all black and white?). We are not pressed for time as we have lived with nothing before (moving into an apartment 4 days before lockdown after selling all of our furniture) and would like some type of AI prototype to make decisions. I am full of shit, but I will immediately know if I don't like something. I hate orange. I love plants. My husband doesn't care much. I hate Faith Hope and Love signs or wall stickers that say "This is us". We want something minimalistic, yet creative, stylish but not in a way that costs me my trips overseas, peaceful and harmonious as both my husband and I fight for our lives every day at work - we need tranquility at home. Plants are an absolute must, so everything must go with green. No chiffon or tafeta, no antiques... I want the second lounge (which has a fireplace) to be a reading room, so require a library look to it... Non-negotiable to be added to entrance - a shoe rack. The house has 4 bedrooms and a walk-through braai area. It has blinds but also curtain rails. Upstairs has wood floors and downstairs has tiles. Work from home space is needed for both of us - as far as possible from each other. One room may need to be converted to a nursery in future (therefore we are open to couches and carpets that are forgiving towards spills and sticky fingers, alternatively we can do storage for some items for a period of time or do stylish, dark covers). I have plenty of pictures. I prefer to communicate via mail as I struggle with listening and timing (due to my work). I do however work well with individuals that respect time (not early nor late for appointments).
The space is m2 Works required: interior design concept of existing space to be reconfigured to fit required work stations - space plan 3d renders for visual concept and design flooring, ceiling and joinery for proposed salon electrical fitting to be changed water reticulation for wash stations mood board for touch and feel action - proposal, project plan, mood board with concept notes MAIN FOCUS - entire space for february launch dark space with lots of warm lighting to create a space for relaxation client has found space - sqm to be confirmed in proposal priority would be interior construction works - ceiling design, floor removal, painting, partitioning as these are readily available appliances procurement to be advised landlord to advise in regards to water reticulation plan, water pressure joinery fittings communicated in space plan notes: indoor ligting to emphasize warmth and relaxation brighten up with greens and accessories like plants, art and vases The salon design exudes sophistication by blending modern and classic elements with high- quality materials like marble, polished stone, and rich wood, creating an opulent atmosphere. Earthy tones and lush greenery add warmth and tranquility, while sleek furniture, round mirrors, and stylish chairs contribute to a clean and uncluttered aesthetic, enhanced by varied textures like smooth marble and soft upholstery for visual interest. To elevate the mood, a strategic combination of ambient, accent, task, and decorative lighting is essential. Soft, warm LED recessed lights create a cozy ambiance, while wall sconces or LED strips highlight key areas like the reception and nail bar. Task lighting at wash stations ensures functionality, and statement chandeliers add drama. Maximizing natural light through well-placed windows or glass walls further enhances brightness, resulting in a stylish and inviting salon experience.
I live in. A well known , quite iconic property, called a Huf Haus. Being predominantly constructed in glass, it begs to be expressed as a modern minimalist aesthetic. The kind of property one would see in the pages of upmarket magazines. I have not been able to achieve this (do not have unlimited funds), but as a work in progress I believe it is possible. I need an experienced keen & discerning individual with impeccable (but not oblivious to cost) taste and skills to help me create the home of my dreams!!
We have built a new braai room and added the furniture - basically a table with 8 chairs and a bar counter with 4 stools. The room has zero decorations in . I need someone to help me get the room cozy and bringing it to life. I will need decorate it over time as I get money to do this. I am planning on decorating it with quality but cost effective decorations. (Mr Price etc) Perhaps one or two expensive statement pieces. We want to go the Nguni route but I cannot imagine this without some greenery. The space is very limited - so we won't be able to add furniture. It has stack doors on both sides, a glass door leading into the house and the other wall has a pizza oven and braai. It has a high ceiling with nice wooden beams. The walls are empty. I am too scared to go out and buy decorations as I am sure nothing will fit together. The house doesn't have a theme. I tried when we bought the house two years ago but with disastress outcome. Nothing works. So the house will need decorating in the near future. Room for room.
We are looking for design services to help us plan + help us source furnishings and art/decor for: 1) a kitchen/living/dining space 2) a master bedroom 3) a kids-room with bunk beds. We can provide style/inspiration photos - we will likely want a modern, clean, black and white type theme throughout, with pops of color.
