Good day, I am looking to build an AirBnB at a hillside plot in St Helena Bay (St Helena Views). The plot is amazingly situated - has the hills as its backdrop and sea view in front. I am looking to quickly build a small home which has large window walls/sliding doors and a deck. Minimalistic with lots of natural light. The hillside has a bushveld/dry/fynbos feel to it so I would like to create a space which compliments this. - The plot is m2 but the living area should be no more than m2 at the top most part of the property - There is a slope (i was thinking instead of excavating, one could use stilts to maintain the aesthetic) - Open plan kitchen, lounge downstairs - Large bathroom and bedroom leading to the deck where I am planning to put a hot tub for now. - Flat rooftop area just for views. - The estate only allows brick and mortar, and alternatively, nutec. I am a British contractor, married to a South African. I am coming to South Africa to build a house. I have my own architectural plan which I need to certify, pay for and permission to build the house as I have my own material. The house will be built using bricks, blocks with a simple roofing.
