Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
Request to quote for the following: Strong foundation, purchase mixed concrete from a mobile mixer Wall, door and window frames Plumbing, electrical installation. I will compare options where a builder brings his own material or provides me with bill of quantities and I purchase the material. Builder must furnish proof of registration for professional bodies
Indeed firstly a wall around my house and to take out the old fence. Then , secondly I need a small rondaval house with thatch roofing and a newly developed house for the finish off just next to the kids small RDP. My yard is quite huge and would need measurements and plans for the outcome of my idea. We also need a garage to build and it needs to be part of the main house and we need to be able to access it on a rainy day through the main house easily. A pool would be a bonus as it's really hot here in Hammanskraal, DanHouse.

Good day I need ideas for small spaces in the house to maximize the use for it. For instance, I have 2 rooms, on the smaller side, but have to accommodate 2 kids per room. I therefore need estimates of what I will be looking at price wise and then decide if I can do all spaces in one go or in sections. Thank you kindly Kind regards

Good Day, I would like to change the layout of my Bathroom- Move basin and shower. Re-tiling of bathroom and Toilet (they are separate.) Move Front door from existing place and incorporate stoep with Main bedroom. Building cupboards to be built in 3 bedrooms. I would also like house to be re-painted inside and out.

I am looking for drawings done by Paul Mathews Architects (now Procompare), I have tried calling the number on the drawing but it is never answered. I am working on the fire detection layout but am working on hand sketched drawings of the site. the drawing attached is what I'm looking for in DWG format along with the ground and second floor office layouts. attached is the drawing number for reference and an example of the hand sketched drawings I am working from.
