How to choose the right architect for your house plans?
This four-step process should help you find the right architect for the job of drawing house plans.
We're interested in buying a house that is in the area we want but is too small. Our idea is to extend from the existing braai room to create the space for a larger living room and dining room and for the kitchen to then extend out into part of the existing living room. We would also need to add a study which we think could be built behind the garage and provide direct access from the home to the garage. We would also need a pool. Overall the extension would probably be around 30m2.
I need a plan for a house including a Cinder block fence around it. My plot is on a slope, so I need some sort of a feature along the fence for heavy rain water to be redirected away from the fence. I would like the house to be a large Open plan structure. Only one large dormitory style bedroom for 6 three-quarter beds along the opposite walls And a sliding door leading onto the patio. I would like 2 bathrooms against the walls opposite each other. An L shaped kitchen and island in the left hand corner and a fireplace in the right hand corner as you come in the front door of the house.
I already have drawn up plans, that has been rejected twice by council. Few changes to be made which current architect did not make on my request. Requirements, open ceiling for living area and kitchen, no scullery. No double front door, but a swivel door. No windows where the fireplace is except for patio doors. No down lighters, single lights in rooms and bathrooms, and 3 lights throughout kitchen and living area (I have photos of what I want).
We have Rocks in Tebessa Algeria expost to the ground, I want to open a musuim have Roaster machine and cafe sale coffee and french patisserie, we have to do something about the rocks, how we going to expit them I mean showing them to the public with out touching them, we have many rocks, you the need how many square metres the place, just tell me how much cost to do the plan
I want to put up a vibecrete house for my daughter in my back yard 13 meters long and 4 meters wide. I need a plan for us to do so it will have three bedrooms and one bathroom with a open plan kitchen with living room space. Please can you assist us by drawing it up and putting the paper work in process.
3 bedroom all en-suite with open plan kitchen and living area. We want to use Alternative Building Material, which is MIBT Panels, size is 3m length x 0.6 width and 75mm diameter. Panels are manufactured using fiber cement boards and polystyrene beaded concrete core. Part of the land is on the mountain with views overlooking Roslyn.
1. Connect the cabin to the main building of the home to increase the space in the living room 2. Change the roof and with that break the middle wall separating the lounge and kitchen 3. move the kitchen to back of the wall so it faces the living room in an open plan style 4. Rework the roof configuration to express an A-frame look, with a window to let light in at the apex 5. Extend the roof over the patio to bring that area in as a living space 6. A part glass enclosure facing the pool 7. Extension of the main bedroom- a space in front and behind might provide added living space in the master suite below if budget allows 8. Wood cladding aesthetic on the walls to give a modern barn style look 9. I am looking for a house plan with the following features: Four bedrooms, double lounge, sitting room.kitchen, kitchen, study room, laundry room, drying area, double garage, two bathrooms. NB: The kitchen, lounge and dining must be an open area. The second lounge must be embedded to the master bedroom where there will be an en suite as well. The second bathroom must be for everyone. I can't estimate but I don't want big rooms. I prefer portable rooms.
I am unable to take calls but I am reachable on email and Whatsapp. I have rooms in my area which need to be reconstructed. They are in poor condition now but I want to improve them by increasing their size, including a bathroom, sink, giza, good ceiling and tiles. I want to know the possible cost and then gather the amount. The only limit might be sizing, the size of the yard might not allow increasing of the size.
I have an old house that needs a face lift. It’s a 3 bedroom house. I need a quote on removing a wall between the kitchen and lounge to create an open plan space. I also need a quote on removing a wall between the toilet room and bathroom to create a one bathroom. We’d like to change the floors from carpet to vinyl throughout the house and update the popcorn walls to flat walls. Some of the walls have cracks in them and I’m not sure if they can just be plastered. We’d also like to update the bathroom and kitchen by adding new cabinets, basins, etc. Basically a full renovation. We are simply looking for quotes at this stage as we’d like to know how much we need before we can begin with the renovations
