The initial expense of installing a solar panel may be pricey, but within a few years, the cost of installation is recouped through your savings. After which, you can enjoy the benefits of free energy which will save you a lot more money in the long run.
If you’re spending between R1800 and R2800 a month on electricity, you’ll need a 5kW kit. And if you’re spending between R2900 and R4300 a month on electricity, you’ll need an 8kWh kit. You can work out your needs based on your monthly electricity spend on the product page of a kit you are interested it. Simply add your average monthly bill amount in the space provided on the top right of the kit page.
The good news is that solar panels can be installed on just about any roof type, but the installation process and mounting hardware might vary from material to material.

Solar installation requirements for:- 10 Chrissie St Brackenhurst Alberton We currently have an Outback 3KW (VFXE) standby inverter with 4 x 12V AGM batteries supplying the essential load. We plan to Add solar panels and replace the Outback inverter. Motivation is to reduce electricity cost with an acceptable return on our investment Note that one person works from home and needs to run his computer and be on the internet We have a generator plug with change over switch Mains/Generator. This is required to charge batteries during extended grid outages. We have not purchased the generator We use a little under 20KWh a day with about ½ to essentials. There is considerable variation in our electricity consumption from day to day and season to season Requirements:- 1. Inverter 5KVA 48V Hybrid Generator input required Must power essentials plus excess solar power to non-essentials, excluding oven We do not intend feeding power back to the grid 2. Batteries Initially existing 4 x 12V AGM. When these fail will upgrade to LiFe 3. Solar panels 3.5KW? Not sure how many panel we need now. There maybe some shading at beginning and end of the day. Advice will be appreciated. Will add more solar panels when we replace the existing batteries. These additional panel will be at a different orientation and will suffer from shading
since nowadays there's what we call load shedding,I think by installing solar panels will make the students safe for final preparations of exams and the college students too.Theres what we call night classes many of our children's now get to understand an information for about quite 3days full but since the will be no electricity disturbance their study time will be well organized and by the end of the year we will be getting good results from them thank you.
