My wife and I were deciding whether we should get a shade net carport installed next to our house. We decided to try the Procompare site and we were pleasantly surprised. We received several good offers and the one we chose was impeccable! The order and payments were exactly as originally described, the installers were fast and professional, and the final result was above expectations. I strongly recommend!
If you want a carport installed, I highly recommend using the procompare site. They are professional and provide really great offers with fair pricing. I received a call from three companies the same day after completing the online form and the one I chose did a great job. Thank you for all the hard work!
I cannot recommend this service enough! Procompare really came through on their promises because I got a call from five carport installers who were all friendly, professional, and so helpful. The company I chose even suggested a couple of ideas that had not occurred to me. So my experience with them has been A+++!
Things you should take into account before deciding on the size of the carport are: the number od vehicles you will park under the carport, the type of vehicle(s), the height of your vehicle(s), intended use of the carport (if you want to have extra storage space), if you are planning to buy anopther/a different vehicle.
The area of installation must be clear, firm and flat. Some companies can do site preparation for you, others offer installation only. Check with the chosen company before conducting the contract.
According to the SANS regulations you do not need plans but you should still check with your local council because you might need to get approval from them.
The lifespan of the carport depends on the quality of the carport and the materials it is made of, but no carport on the market should last less than 10 years.
I need a shade net carport that can accommodate 2 cars, dimensions 7m (width) x 5.7m (depth) x 3m (entry height) . It will be free standing, i.e. no attachments to any buildings, all four sides should be secured to the ground. The structure must be made from galvanised steel. The net should additionally cover 3 of the four sides to form an enclosed structure (only the entry point should be open) The carport needs to be removable and must be able to be resurrected at a new location at a later stage. Please provide a quote that specifies the following components separately: (1) Frame structure, (2) Net, (3) Assembly.

Two carports. The first one is about 7.4m W x 6mL. One side (6mL) will be fixed against a wall and the other side on poles. No middle pole on the 7.4 m width side. That side is the entry side for the vehicles. Second one. 6mL x3m W. 6m side fixed against a wall. no poles on the other side. Lots of wind and close to the sea. Must be rust-resistant.

The carport will be standalone unless otherwise advised. The current space available for the first is about the length of two VW polo (Hatch), not sure about the length meter-wise.
