Im looking into installing a garage do. The area haven't had one before. Advice which one will be the best. Also is single or double more durable

There is a hole in the bottom timber section of double garage door. My husband has taken a look and the wood does not seem to be rotten. We need someone to offer some advice and let us know whether repairs are even possible and how much it cost. The garage door would be at my son's house in Fourways.
