I need repair work and installations done. Leaking roof repair. Ceiling installation. Insulation against extreme cold. House seems to have a problem with extreme cold temperatures. Plumbing in bathroom and water pressure. Repaint / potential crack repairs. Cupboard doors repairs and counter top repair. Check electrical reticulation.
Hail storm destroyed tile roofing, causing water leakage on the whole roof. During the damage most roof tiles fell off and broke. Water system also need serious attention also, as copper pipes outside that bring in water into the house were broken during vandalization of the property. All water taps in bathrooms and kitchen sink need replacement. Some carpentry work too is required to restore kitchen built-in wooden cupboards. At the front entrance steps outside, the whole top slab of the steps is loose and needs reconcreting to fix it back to place. Thank you.
Good morning, I woke up to having no hot water running through my pipes and only cold water this morning. I am wondering what the problem could be. I had not issues previously. I recently installed a borehole and water filtration system. However after the system backwashed this morning at 2 am, I have only cold water and no hot water running through the pipes. what could be the cause. Could it be a malfunctioning differential valve. Or a resetting of the valve. In your experience what could be the problem and solution. are you able to come out and assist in fixing it. Please let me know. Thanks also do you think I require a none return valve. What would the cost of this be.
This is an old family house that needs a little bit of a upgrade, farm house style. It's got an outside garage with laundry. 1. The bedrooms has wooden floors, and could be redone with Laminated Tiles (36sqm in total) 2. The bathroom needs floor & wall tiles (12sqm). complete remodeling is needed to fix shower 3. The kitchen needs floor & wall tiles, double sink, 3.9m (L) kitchen cupboards, gas stove 4. The dining room also has wooden floors, and laminated tiles would be ideal 5. All the interior & exterior walls needs to be repainted, including ceilings 6. Electrical rewiring must be done, including lights 7. All exterior and interior doors could be replaced. 8. Reroofing needed to prevent ongoing damage to walls
House still busy with transfer, looking at mid september occupation. Knocking out 2 walls (load bearing) and potentially placing in Lintils or I-Beams / H-Beams. replaster and paint to close up etc. The idea is to open the kitchen / lounge / dining room which are closed by walls. There is a slanted high ceiling in the lounge / dining room areas so the kitchen wall seems almost like a double high wall to the slanted roof. There are a few other minor walls to come out that are single sized walls 1 bathroom wall to connect a smaller bathroom to make it a bigger one. bricking up a doorway on a single wall and creating another doorway in the same wall somewhere else. knocking out a wall near the lounge, standard sized wall. Can attach pictures / video when needed and have a mock floor plan with changes but open to any other ideas from your team also. I am located in JHB currently so will have to work remotely, video / pictures until we can do a proper inspection of the house in September. Seperate quotes for kitchen / each bathroom / kitchen , dining , living open plan remodel quotes on walls.
Good day, we are looking to build a tiny home of not more than 70m2 - 90m2 in the Rosendal, Free State area. The home should consist of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (shower in the bath) an open plan living and kitchen area as well as a stoep, all on one level. The erf is not sloped and flat, but the area consist of clay and I would suggest a floating foundation. The shape of the roof is not so important, so sloped or flat.
