Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.

I would like to specify that the house us in a slightly steep area. I intend to change the existing garage to two bedrooms with a bathroom. I want to build a new garage in the front with a carport attached to it In square metres I can't tell exactly but I intend to change the face of the house. I want a new garage at the front of the house with a carport attached to it. The old garage, I intend to change it to be a two roomed flat with a bathroom and small living area. I don't know whether this will fall in the quote I would like to change the shape of stairs from going downwards to the gate and that the stairs come from sideways
We have done some alterations to our house and we thought that the person who did our plans back then submitted everything. We have now sold the house and the new owner is looking for the plans, only to find out that the plans were never even submitted for the extensions. We have now fully moved to Jeffrey's Bay and need someone to help us sort this out asap!
I an very good with animals and people. I'm looking to take care after a couple or single persons house...properties. I prefer Ramsgate , Southbroom areas. I know the areas well. I'm a perfectionist. Everything will always be in mint condition. I have my own car. I'm currently in Gauteng, but want to move to the coast. The house is situated opposite a vineyard The colors of the furniture and paintings should compliments it We have two teenage children a boy and a girl. My mother will be occupying a room her colour is blue but not harsh. Then the main bedroom looks out to the vineyard.. Then there are two living spaces as well as the kitchen that needs to be furnished. This is a big project but we would like to finish the main area first. My partner is From Rwanda and his kids I am from South Africa. We have two weeks to complete the main areas because the children will come to visit. Oh we need appliances for the kitchen aa well.
