How much does an architect cost in South Africa?
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) publishes "standard rates" based on a price per square meter when using a building cost of R12 500 per m².
I have been defrauded by about 2 "architects" previously and I would like to be connected with companies closer to me so that we can have meetings and I can see them face to face. The previous guys did some work but never submitted anything to council, I need someone to draw plans for me and also see the process through this time in terms of submitting to town council.
I need repairs to the roof, design and installation of ceiling, installation of chimney cover, installation of floor tiles, installation of wall tiles in the bathrooms, plumbing, installation of building in wardrobes, installation of building in kitchen unit, installation of bath tubs and flush toilets
My house is m2 on a sloping surface facing north with a drop of about 13m to the lower Street. The garage is on the top floor and there are also bedrooms three, 3. The lower floor is the living area with kitchen. Then the steps take you down to the entertainment area. The house appears as three storey due to sloping of the land but it is actually a tow storey as per municipal zoning. Please find attached approved house plans.
It is just a verandah that was on the original plans that we enclosed. Its tiny and I can send you the plans and the measurements but it is a small job. Not as urgent I want to alter some really old plans for a new place I am buying, I just need a room put onto a cottage and a change of size on another room. Money is tight so don't want to spend a fortune.

I want to build a 4 bedroom two story home. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. The master bedroom should have an en suite bathroom and there should also be a separate shared bathroom. There should also be a separate toilet and a living room/entertaining area on the top floor. I have some further specs that can be sent upon request.
Mostly nutect. In Franskraal caravan park now trading as Kleinoverbergoord. My sister and I wish to have plans drawn and there could be many more people on average 30-50 others. Most are SASSA recipients. There are at this stage 2 houses but many more possibly will be interested also. Both houses are Nutec ( steel frame)one with 2 bedroom and one bathroom, open plan kitchen/ lounge and dining-room with a garage fully enclosed. Plus minus <m2. The other house ( wooden frame) is a three bedroom, full bathroom ( 2 toilet, basin, bathroom, shower and basin) kitchen, lounge, dining-room, sun-room, braai-room with double braai. Front stoop fully enclosed and small outside patio at the back of the property, fully enclosed plus a man cave or bachelor pad which consists of a bath, basin, toilet and a shower and space for a kitchen-net, or as a separate ablution on the property. I'd like to build a 3 room house (with an open plan preferably) in Limpopo, Jane Furse. The house must have at least 1 bed room, 1 bathroom & an open space that I can divide in two for a living room & kitchen. I have at least 5 plans that I need quotes for so that I can decide which to build considering my budget. Also, I'd like to start my building project by October this year.
Want to build a drywalled spray booth. Size 6 (L) x3 (W) x2.5 (H). There is an existing brick wall for the one side. Two doors 2mt in height. A sealed window on the 6mt wall. To include lighting. To include fans for air in and an extractor for air out. Contractor would have to provide plans to the municipality and get necessary approvals from the municipality. Need this done in the shortest time possible.
