There was water leaking from above unit as I’m on ground floor and do damage to my barthroom and outer wall of bathroom as well as the wall towards the kitchen. Calyptus, Oak wood(could be wrong), not sure of the dimensions. It's a very old and weathered window frame that has split at one of its joints, I believe the wood swelled and the nails no longer for snugly. The glass pane also fell out recently because of this, so I would need that replaced. I don't want to replace the whole wooden frame since the home will be under full renovation in a few months, so if possible, could the split be fixed and a new window pane be installed without the treatment of the entire frame?
