This construction project involves a significant expansion and renovation of an existing home, increasing its size from **35.4m² to .4m²**, nearly **four times larger**. The project includes the **expansion of the sitting room (6m x 3m) and kitchen (5m x 3m),** along with the addition of a **master bedroom (4m x 4m) with a 4m x 3m closet, bedroom 2 (4m x 4m), bedroom 3 (3m x 3m), three bathrooms (each 4m x 2m), and a laundry room (4m x 2.5m).** A **1.3m-wide passageway** ensures smooth access throughout the home. The renovation also requires **new foundations, 1, concrete blocks for wall construction, and a complete roofing system using durable zinc sheets** on a **m² gable roof with a 30° slope.** New **plumbing installations** will support the expanded **bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room,** while a **new electrical system** will provide **lighting, outlets, and wiring** for all rooms. The project also includes **11 new doors with frames, multiple large and small windows, flooring, wall finishes, and painting** to complete the transformation. With an **estimated material cost of R60, (excluding labor and permits),** the next steps involve securing labor quotes, site inspections, and finalizing purchases to begin construction. This project will create a **modern, spacious, and functional home** with improved aesthetics, comfort, and efficiency.
Semi-detached house with 2 bedrooms, lounge, small galley-type kitchen, small bathroom. I would like to utilize outside adjacent areas to create a more spacious feel without major building construction. For example I've already installed awnings at front and rear of the house in order to facilitate my objective of creating a more spacious-flowing appeal. I also have a relatively large wooden-cabin approx 6 by 6 sq meters in extent, which I'd also like to enhance for personal occupation.
