We recently bought a home and have been renovating it. The garden is overgrown with weeds and we have tried multiple garden services to manage the garden and grass but there has been no improvement. I am looking for a consultation on some landscaping ideas for the garden and a quote for the work. I like simple, indigenous, low-maintenance gardens.
It’s really about how many days you think it would take to complete the project. The initial set up involves Irrigation system Compost section Veggie domes - I’ll also look into this - ready made boxes vs building ourselves Waterwise garden under palm. Assessing current plant layout & reconfiguration if necessary. Beautifying garden with creative imagination Think about - don’t rush.
This is for a sloped garden. I would like to design and install a flat lawn on one of the levels, this would require digging and leveling as well as pathways and mini walls. The size of the lawn would be approximately /sqm. See two pictures attached for the current sloped garden. Also see attached a reference for a flat lawn that I want to achieve from a neighboring house.
I would like to get a quote for having irrigation put in at my complex so I could take it to the body corp for approval. I would like 3 detailed quotes to present for approval. One just basic system with tap that you have to manually do the connection, One with popups and a timer option, and one with management system.

Hi, I am situated in Parkrand, Boksburg. 90 % of our property is paved We need a garden service that knows how to work garden beds (the difference between a weed and a plant etc). Our garden has pretty much been demolished by our soon to be "ex-garden service". We need people who know what they're doing and having a green-thumb is not necessary, but an added bonus. We were paying R monthly for one weekly visit and we no longer have a garden to be proud of, unfortunately. I hope you can assist. Regards,
We're looking to completely redesign our outdoor space. The current garden is overgrown and outdated, and we'd like to create a modern, low-maintenance design with a mix of indigenous plants, paving, and possibly an irrigation system. We’d also like to add some outdoor seating and improve the lighting for evening use.
We have just cleared out this area as it was looking tatty. We would like to get some design ideas for this area situated at our front entrance. Garden is generally English country with curved pathway, roses, hydrangeas...free flowing. No pesticides used. Looking for ideas for low maintenance, pretty entrance. Perhaps seating area and pond. Creeper to cover garage wall, maybe tickey or Virginia for Autumn colour. Area is slightly sloped. Landscaping not required, just ideas. Thanks.
We need to redo a significant area of back garden, which has not been able to withstand significant dog-traffic. Our garden comprised a fair amount of grass, with surrounding flower/plant beds, but due to dog traffic and likely poorly aerated soil, the grass has died in several patches and tracks, and as a result, our patio and house have become a sand-covered mess. I feel the best solution is to covert the high-traffic areas into hard landscape, but preserve as much grass as possible for the dogs (and me - I need the green). We do not have a pool yet, but are looking into installing one in the intermediate future. I am looking for a landscaper that will be able to assess our garden, advise on and design a workable solution, assist with sourcing and supply of materials, as well as installation.
