I have a two bedroom 2 bathroom plus an office and would like to have a solar system to run my whole house. Washing machine, dishwasher, dryer (if possible), fridge, freezer, air conditioner, lights, tv, internet, computer. Double garage doors. I have no idea what size unit I would need to run so would appreciate your advice and input. Thank you.
I have a 5kw inverter installed and I am very happy with it. However, I wanted to set up SOLAR PANELS but the area is not suitable for panels. I would have to have something portable. The other draw back, I was told to install 4 panels for charging the battery!!! I have a thatch roof. Any advice would be appreciated. I am in Naboomspruit, 2 hours north of Pretoria.

I am having fully installed solar power system which worked for roughly 6 months and the battery keeps on tripping on its Circuit breaker. The installer informed me that it is over discharged. He took it and recharged it and only worked for one day and it is still doing the same thing. I am using this to run 5×4m freezer room. I am told is a 9kw solar power system. It never worked for the entire year and I don't see the benefit of having it. Please come to assess and give recommendations.
