Waterproofing to the balcony: Aluminum doors will be removed to the balcony. Aluminum doors and frames will be wrapped in bubble wrap and stored in the garage for safekeeping until re-installation. All cement and waterproofing layers will be chopped up and removed off-site from the balcony. Rubble skip will be on-site and removed once it is filled. All existing waterproofing will be removed. mm Turn-ups will be chopped off in order to apply the waterproofing application onto the bricks. Existing outlets will be removed. New 63mm Flange outlets will be fitted to the parapet walls to allow water to discharge outside of the balcony. Screed-to-fall will be done to ensure water runs out of the outlets, and that there will be no water ponding in any areas. 50x75mm Angle will be fitted where the door will be fitted to prevent water from running back into the rooms. The waterproofing application will consist of the following: x2 Coats of Mapei-Lastic Mapei-tape to all turn-ups and corners and into the cavities. Mapei-net the flat surface x1 coat will be applied, followed by the Mapei-net and Mapei-tape being applied on top of the 1st coat. 2nd coat will be applied over all of the above-mentioned after 24 hours. Aluminum doors and frames will be re-fitted. Turn-ups and bands around the frames will be plastered to a smooth finish. Waterproofing application and plaster will be left for x3 days before the painting and tiling can commence. New tiles will be installed.
Good morning Please would you quote me for building the carport attached. I've attached the following: 1. Picture of my house where the carport will be 2. My neighbour's carport (my carport should also be similar) 3. Drawings by architect (6m x 6m are the dimensions), they have been approved by municipality finally 4. The picture of an example where the 4th pillar needs to be slightly in (this will also be necessary in my carport, for easy exit out of the garage).
Please I would like to have a quotation of a building that has a floor and ceiling that is damaged because of an air handling unit that is placed on top of timber floor. The ceiling below that floor is also affected. Please I would like to have the following in the quotation: 1. An investigation on the cause and extend of the water damage on the floor/ceiling. 2. On top of the timber floor there is a torch-on waterproof. What is the rate of the waterproof when it is removed and when it is replaced with new. Thank you. Kind regards,
plumbing a bathroom needs to be done over as it is an old steel bath where plumbing is not in wall but on the wall. tiles also need to be replaced. it will be a bath with a shower overhead, basin also be replaced. garage roof also needs to be done over the wooden strip on wall against which sheeting is mounted is rotting badly so whole roof needs to be done with most of the frame still being in excellent condition. poor waterproofing caused the rot. one face board on the main home also needs to be replaced. possibly would like the wall in front of home removed and replaced with solid sliding steel gate as well. this gate will be manual not motor based
It's a small room about 2.7m x 3.2m that requires remodelling for the use of a Tanning/collogan Studio. Work required: *Need the existing window replaced with a door to enable access from outside. *Old aircon removed and wall filled *flooring *lighting *electrical works (including surge protection) *dry wall partition *solar or generator installation
I have a double door garage and interested in a simple but smart carport with open sides and my house have no gutters I want the water from the roof to fall on the carport then to the garden in other words the carport should slant a bit to the garden which will be on the left from main gate.I had a net scotch type of a port but now have put some corrugated irons on the scotch shape but not happy with it at all.Want to give it a nice flat design
I need to redo a bedroom into an office and lounge space. I would need the removal of old doors to be replaced with new doors and the removal of cupboard doors and replacement with new. The skirting of the room needs to be sanded and old paint on them removed and restained. Walls need to be painted including accent walls. Built in cupboard needs to be redone. Shelving needs to be designed and installed.
We are moving into a rented house, which we may decide to buy and renovate later. Initially we would like a quote for doing some restoration/repair work and a thorough repainting of the main downstairs rooms as well as the 3 bedrooms upstairs - we will have occupancy from 1st of Feb but will be allowed access before that to complete the work. If the work is good quality, you would be considered for the larger renovation once the property is purchased. Thanks,
We’d like to request a quote for the following activities: - Scoping and changing water usage at an office building; - This would include, installation of taps, which use less water; - Reduce bucket load of toilets/placing a brick in them or having spring mechanisms installed for no continued flushing by accident; - Water efficiency at the car washing area? They already use a hose. - We would like to implement changes that do not have to change peoples behaviors, rather work around those behaviors. i.e. reduce water coming out of taps for example, instead of trying to police people. - The office block has two levels and a small house area and a security house, this would then include o 2x women’s bathrooms, o 2x men’s bathrooms, o A bathroom for the apartment, o Bathroom for the security hut. We'd need the work to reduce water consumption by at least 20% and need a quote to approve funding requirements. Please let me know if there is any additional information I could supply. The funding is a fund we are fetching for a greening of a building. Funds will be released, we just need to know how much.
*Renovating an open plan kitchen to be more functional, better functional design and more clever storage solutions. *breaking through to incorporate two back to back bathrooms into one larger, more spacious main bathroom en suite with walk in wardrobe. This is for my mum, I am doing this project on behalf of her, I require quotes to compare and make an informed decision on which avenue to go with.
