Is it cheaper to build or buy a house in South Africa?
The short answer is that it is cheaper to buy an existing house in South Africa but every year less so.
Currently, have a 2 bedroom home, and my plan is to extend the house to a double-storey. I want a three-bedroom at the top, a master bedroom with an ensuite and another bathroom for kids. New ceiling for bathroom and just a paint for ceiling in the other rooms, new toilet seat for bathroom. And new fitted wardrobe for 2 rooms one smaller and the other bigger. Good morning, please can you provide a quote for the following plumbing issue. There is a T junction where the sewer from one toilet runs into the pipe from the main toilet. The T junction is within about 2 metres from the main toilet and 5 metres from the second toilet. There appears to be a broken or damaged pipe in this area and this restriction is creating a blockage. It seems that the T junction will need to be replaced. There is obviously paving that needs to be removed in order to reach this section. We have previously had a plumber in who tried to clear the blockage and gave us the above information. I would like to have it sealed off, add a ceiling, raise the floor by about a meter, paint, and install a shower, toilet, basin, kitchenette, windows and door.
