How long does an architectural project typically last?
Let's go over the timeline for the construction of a new family home.
We are hoping to get a building plan for our small wooden cabin which we plan to live in for a few years while building our home. It is currently 25 square meters but we are happy to up it to 30 or the minimum requirement. Are you able to assist? We may or may not submit plans for the main build at the same time and look forward to advise.

We bought a house, never knew that the flatlet was not on the building plans. So we looking around for someone just to change the garage to the existing flatlet. So needing prices, we got asked R just to change garage to flatlet. Which I feel is really a rip off. I do understand things cost money but not at that price.

Simple practical design, the budget for the build is R2million. I want a double story house. The top floor should have 4 bedrooms. One en-suite bathroom and two small bathroom. The ground floor should have one bedroom, a tv area, dining area, kitchen, scullery, enclosed patio area, and bathroom that has toilet & basin. Double garage. Outside toilet & basin also. I have been defrauded by about 2 "architects" previously and I would like to be connected with companies closer to me so that we can have meetings and I can see them face to face. The previous guys did some work but never submitted anything to council, I need someone to draw plans for me and also see the process through this time in terms of submitting to town council.
It is just a verandah that was on the original plans that we enclosed. Its tiny and I can send you the plans and the measurements but it is a small job. Not as urgent I want to alter some really old plans for a new place I am buying, I just need a room put onto a cottage and a change of size on another room. Money is tight so don't want to spend a fortune.
I want to build a 4 bedroom two story home. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. The master bedroom should have an en suite bathroom and there should also be a separate shared bathroom. There should also be a separate toilet and a living room/entertaining area on the top floor. I have some further specs that can be sent upon request.
