Carport is erected been up for many years. Unfortunately the gardener decided to try drive the car after it was parked for him to wash and he crashed the car into the carport on post causing damage to one post and the fibre cement facias. The house belongs to my mother and the insurance has asked her to get quotes to repair.
Need a carport of dimensions avg .7m length x 3.7m - please see also sketch. The carport needs to be from galvanized steel and painted / powercoated to charcoal grey or alternatively from aluminium also in charcoal grey. The carport has a garage to the left side to fix against, a boundary wall to the rear and a high wall to the right to fix ontop. Please also refer to sketch. I have also indicated posts as I might want to close with timber slats at some stage.
Existing Roll up door that was damaged by the wind. The "inside" portion of the door is not covered by a roof and thus exposed to weather. Door has been in place for +-9 years. With Strong winds this weekend it pulled out of the riverts and torn in the top mid section. I would need something that is probabaly 40 cm longer than a standard door so that top section when closed forms a closed drum tipe of look so that wind cannot damage it.
Ticked off carport, but what we actually need is a sloped roof over an atrium (approx 9m x 4m) to keep rain water from flooding the atrium between main house and pool room. No free standing traditional carport required. Enclosed on all 4 sides already Just a roof that will have gutter(s) and single downpipe leading rainwater to garden.

Hi team, I would like to inquire about the replacement of the frames of our verandah doors in the complex The Boulders in Ballito. We would like to get them replaced, but the glass should still be used, as that one is still in complete order. In total we have four sliding door frames to be replaced, two ground floor, two first floor. We would first start with the two bottom ones for now. It's standard opening: 2.40m x 2.08m, two panels each. I have attached a pic (sorry for the mess!🙈), so that you might not need to come to take a look at it before you can quote me. Can you give me short feedback, if you would be able to assist us with this? If you need to take a look at it: hubby is there this weekend, so you could swing by on Saturday, if that works for you. Warm regards and thank you in advance,
We have a 16m opening that we want glass sliding cavity doors. Height around 2.6m. Would like to get an initial idea on pricing. This is for a new property purchase we are going ahead with and so doing initial research on costs. Frame needs to be black, not sure what material is best. Not sure on how many panels either, so can give me suggestion based on the space.
It is a door and a frame for a outside covered area where we are installing roll down canvas blinds and we need a door for an entrance. No idea what is possible and what will work so I need advise, quote and then installation. It is outside so it will need to be weather proof. A frame will have to be built and then a door which is only possible to open one way. There is a metal fence with a gate post, not sure if that will help. If you look at the photos, the door has to be where the gate is and it must be door height and the rest of the area up to the beam has to be closed off. The canvas blinds will then run from the door Frame, which will be where the gate is from the beam on top all the way to the ground, Hence the need for a frame.
Attached pictures: House pics of where the carport needs to go (4 pics) Inspirational pics of what we want the carport to look like (4 pics) 3d schematics of where we would like the carport to go (2 pics) Dimensions and requirements: 5m deep (at least) 6m wide (at least, to fit 2 cars easily) Front posts to be inset by at least a meter. I.e. We need a 1m overhang so that the front posts are not in the way of the other garage Only 2 corner posts are required in the front. The back and sides can have more posts than just on the corners We would like the posts to be square, not round. We would like the roof of the carport to let light in so would prefer clear or white IBR or whidespan polycarb sheeting. Other or better recommendations would also be considered. If the colour of the posts and front facia is an option we would like to have it black or be able to paint it black. Please include the cost to paint. Wooden slats as per the inspirational images
I have a studio flatlet that right now has wooden windows and door, with the weather they have started to deteriorate and I need to have it replaced. I'd say the width is about 2m (I am guessing) - I need a reliable, cost effective replacement please. If you could whatsapp me and I can arrange with the tenant for you to quote please.
