I assume that we will have to invoice for VAT and that the company that is using my services, would claim the vat back. They need an accountant to approve the following: "As this is a self-employment a statement from your accountant must be provided to confirm the exact start and end date (dd/mm/yyyy) of employment and as well as the total number of hours or hours per week worked. Please note that we are unable to accept approximate, varying or average hours for service credit calculations." As I was only an online teacher and did my own tax and didn't need an accountant, this makes it pretty difficult to approve. I have all the information needed and have a statutory declaration as evidence, but they want an accountant to basically say the exact same thing.
