How to get building plan approval in South Africa?
What you have to do to get the permit and where to start.
Double storey with open plan and patio on ground floor, 4/5 beds,en suite except 1. 1 common bathroom, tiny servant quarters, combination of flat and slightly hipped roof (woodland hills wildlife estate guidelines). Stacked doors and/or sliding doors on ground and upper level, glass balustrades for balconies, scullery(with laundry) behind open plan kitchen.
We want to make sure our home Interior design looks more modern than currently living in both inside and outside . 5 bedrooms , with 1 en suit , 2 separate bathrooms . kitchen lounge is open plan . Dinning room and living open plan .
I would like to erect a carport, move a load-bearing wall, move a door and two windows, and replace my boundary wall. I prefer email communication.

Not sure if this requires planning permission Install 2 shipping containers, which will be converted into a Gym/storage, carport and workshop area. The attached simple drawings I have prepared will explain the above: a) Site Plan: this will show what is the actual as of today and points 1&2 b) Container Design 3: Is the top view of point 4 c) Container Design 3 Roof: Is the side views and roof design of point 4. So our request is we want an Architect to advise costs for making the plans and getting planning permission approval.
