A sliding door will be installed after the veranda. When the door is installed, the step needs to be adjusted by a builder and the plastering around the frame has been completed. Replacement for hinged old double wooden doors with cottage pane windows. cm high wide and about 20 cm depth of the wall. Considering aluminium replacement. Prefer NOT just full plain glass from a security perspective BUT will consider it as an option, please. What hinged options do you have? Not a supporter of sliding doors from a security perspective alone. Security of the door is key, the nature of the door itself, the security of locking, etc. House has a lot of wooden cottage panes! My bathroom wall has a hole for building plumbing/ maintenance, I would like to close this hole with a door or mechanism that can be opened as needed for plumbing maintenance. The main reason for closing is the odour from the plumbing shaft as well as insects which enter my unit through the shaft hole. The hole is +- 1,7m long and 50cm wide.
