Portion of roof over double volume has translucent sheeting (I think it is glass fiber installed 20 years ago: 4 sheets wide and c. 1,5 M long on both sides (E and W)) which was damaged by the recent hail storm. A small hole (± 20mm) appeared after the storm. So I guess the sheets will have to be replaced with corrugated polycarbonate sheets.

I would like to inquire about both a renovation of the existing thatch or a complete replacement. The existing thatch roof condition is as follows: 1. The dressing has been combed out and the transverse wires are visible; 2. The dressing thickness is well below the South African National minimum standards of mm; 3. The roof capping will have to be replaced; 4. There is no flashing and waterproofing at the juncture of the thatch and parapet walls (Main reason for falling damp internally) Please assist with a quote
