My wooden garden gate has perished and has always been too heavy for its frame. It is in direct sunlight all day and exposed to rain so I need advice on material. I think the frame is still ok, but may need to be reinforced into the wall. The dims of the gate itself are 80cm x cm. Photos attached. I can use the existing lock but the slot would need to be cut out. I can use the existing handles. The colour is a dark brown according to estate colours. It does not need to be completely solid; it can be slotted. I can stain it providing I am given advice as to which primer and stain should be used, dependant on material of the gate. The finished item would need to be hung/lock fitted. I am not looking for a high-end product, but certainly one that would last.
Dear Sir/Ma’am, I was hoping you could assist me. I have a house in a complex in Knysna and already have an 8kW invertor and 1 battery that has saved me through the Eskom two hour load shedding. I am now looking at installing solar panels and an additional battery. It would be great if you give me some more information on what solar panels I need as well as how many (my northern facing roof is about 25m2) panels I would require to charge the batteries. Looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, P.S. Please call me on WhatsApp if you need to call me as I am currently out of the country. Thanks. Otherwise email works great.
This job is to replace an existing wooden gate that has perished. Pictures are attached. Measurements of the gate itself are 79.5cm x cm to the frame. The frame needs to be replaced too. I would need the existing handle and lock need to be transferred onto the new gate and the whole gate and frame installed. The gate need not be identical to the existing one.

I am looking to install the Quatro Victron System with 24x watt Canadian Solar Panels to ensure that I am almost self sufficient from an electrical supply point of view. I have North facing roof space to handle these Solar Panels and have set up conduits and an extra DB Board for Solar power supply. I would also like to be in a position to provide electricity back into the grid when this facility is available in the Knysna area
One 6,4 meter gate. More or less One 2.7 meter. More or less. The two gates must meet. The long gate must be in front of the garage doors. Then other gate can be pushed open . We have a caravan that must be able to pass through the small gate. The attachment between the two gates must be able to go down when taking out the caravan.
Load shedding backup system that one can upgrade. I would like someone to explain all the different back-up systems that are possible to use during load shedding so that I can make an informed decision. I am busy at work from 8 to 4pm but I do have some times during the day where I am available for calls as well. If I do miss a call, I am available on email and Whatsapp as well.
Please could you provide us with a quote to add solar panels to our Sunsynk 5k system. (Plett) System was installed Sep/Oct last year and has 5.5k? - hubble battery. We would now like to add a few panels to the system (the minimum to start with as budget is a consideration. ) Please advise the best way to proceed so that we can add on as we are able to.
Hi there, I have some questions regarding the installation of 6 solar panels and associated components. I am busy on phonecall meetings for the next hour, I will be available for discussions after that. What would you charge me for installing the following: 1) Deye 5Kw single phase hybrid inverter. VOC V; Battery: 48V CT & Wifi included (what would be different if one used an 8kW inverter? i.e. cost versus benefits) 2 Volta Battery Lithium 5.1kW; 48 V Ah, Stage 1 3. Six solar panel W monocrystalline PV module Tier 1 Thanks,
We are school which has over learners. Our electricity bill during winter is over R25 . We have photocopying machines and printers that are running everyday at our admin block. We want to start the installation at the admin block first before we can expand and put the whole school. The admin block must always function. It has: 1. It has photocopying machines that are alternated depending on the demand for papers (two machines work during the examination season) 2. Five heaters 3. Two bar fridges 4. One microwave 5. 11 rooms for lights including the corridors 6. An alarm system.
