I live meters from the sea and would like to replace the 2 single "roll-up" steel/zinc doors due to rust, despite regular maintenance over the past 13 years. Thus, I am looking for enduring/maintenance free doors. The automated equipment for each door (Digi Door) is still in good working order. However, the brackets at the doors should be replaced due to rust. See photos attached.

I plan to close up an existing carport with brick walls and a manual chromadec roll up door in front. The dimension of the opening where I want to fit the door is 4.1meter wide and 2.1meter high. The pace above the door opening is is mm to the roof. There is also mm wall both sides of the opening. I am not sure if a standard door will fit in this space? I would like to have a quote on a double garage door supplied and fitted and fully automated. The professional will have to assess whether it will have to be a custom size fit as I cannot have a center post separating the doors. I must be able to fit two cars side by side specifically two double cab bakkies. I would need the entire frame work constructed from scratch for the garage door to fit onto as there is none at the moment except the carport. The professional will need to advise.
We have a Hollywood type garage and would like to install a double garage door. The roof is a corrugated roof structure and is close to the opening of the carport, a roller shutter door type will not fit, so the installation should be based on a slidding type track. We have been looking at Chromadec or alternatively Alu-zinc type door, preferably the Double Charcoal 40 Panel type door.
I have a wooden garage door and it has a motor but currently it is removed and we are lifting the door by hand and it is very heavy and dangerous. The wheels along the side are also not in good condition. I was hoping for someone to come see it in person for free and we will gladly pay for it to get fixed.
It is currently a roller door(old and worn), and the gap above the door does not allow for a folding door. So I need a replacement roller door, powder-coated white. There is a hole in the bottom timber section of double garage door. My husband has taken a look and the wood does not seem to be rotten. We need someone to offer some advice and let us know whether repairs are even possible and how much it cost. The garage door would be at my son's house in Fourways.
1 Standard Double Sectional Automated lift door with draughtproofing. The existing Double is of the 40 raised panel type single up and over and will remain in place until all new brickwork is completed 3 mtrs forward of existing door and new door to be fitted before removal of the old door. This is for security reasons. This installation/removal is subject to planning approval and completion of new brickwork and roofing not earlier than September/October time.
