Hi team, I would like to inquire about the replacement of the frames of our verandah doors in the complex The Boulders in Ballito. We would like to get them replaced, but the glass should still be used, as that one is still in complete order. In total we have four sliding door frames to be replaced, two ground floor, two first floor. We would first start with the two bottom ones for now. It's standard opening: 2.40m x 2.08m, two panels each. I have attached a pic (sorry for the mess!🙈), so that you might not need to come to take a look at it before you can quote me. Can you give me short feedback, if you would be able to assist us with this? If you need to take a look at it: hubby is there this weekend, so you could swing by on Saturday, if that works for you. Warm regards and thank you in advance,
Need first to check and well secure my existing aluminum windows as there is some gaps on frame and window frame / windows are loose, noisy when cars go past. Replace 4 X old steel frame / glass windows with silver aluminum. 2 X Opening Windows below 2 x Solid Glass - Kitchen and Entrance 2 X Opening Windows below Solid Glass. Approximate Dimensions attached.
6x windows (wooden frames) to be replaced with 6x aluminium equivalents (chrome coloured) 2x wooden doors and frames to be replaced with 2x aluminium doors and frames (chrome coloured) window 1 - 3. x 1. (with 2 openers on either side) window 2 - 2. x 1. (with 2 openers at one side) window 3 - 2. x 1. (with 2 openers at one side) window 4 - 2. x 1. (with 2 openers on either side) window 5 - 0. x 0. (with 1 opener at bottom side) window 6 - 0. x 0. (with 1 opener at bottom side) door 1 - 0. x 2. (front door with 6x horizontal glass panels) door 2 - 0. x 2. (back door divided with 3x glass panels on top side) NB : Removal of current old wooden frames and full installation of new aluminium frames must be included in the quotation. New aluminium frames must be the exact form and shape (specifications) of the old wooden frames. Above measurements must be verified by the installing company. I do understand that only a price estimation can be done according to the above mentioned measurements and information, and that a final quotation will only be available after an on-site visit by the quotee... We have a 16m opening that we want glass sliding cavity doors. Height around 2.6m. Would like to get an initial idea on pricing. This is for a new property purchase we are going ahead with and so doing initial research on costs. Frame needs to be black, not sure what material is best. Not sure on how many panels either, so can give me suggestion based on the space.
It is a door and a frame for a outside covered area where we are installing roll down canvas blinds and we need a door for an entrance. No idea what is possible and what will work so I need advise, quote and then installation. It is outside so it will need to be weather proof. A frame will have to be built and then a door which is only possible to open one way. There is a metal fence with a gate post, not sure if that will help. If you look at the photos, the door has to be where the gate is and it must be door height and the rest of the area up to the beam has to be closed off. The canvas blinds will then run from the door Frame, which will be where the gate is from the beam on top all the way to the ground, Hence the need for a frame.
I have a studio flatlet that right now has wooden windows and door, with the weather they have started to deteriorate and I need to have it replaced. I'd say the width is about 2m (I am guessing) - I need a reliable, cost effective replacement please. If you could whatsapp me and I can arrange with the tenant for you to quote please.
The Apartment is in an old Sectional Title complex with Steel windows that do not seal. I may not remove the existing. I want to install new frames on the inside and keep the existing steel frames. Colour should be a light, cheap option. Pure aluminum or white whichever is cheaper Window 1 >> x 2x panels SLIDING Window 2 >> x 2x panels SLIDING Window 3 >> x 1x panel INWARD Side hinge Window 4 >> x 2x panels SLIDING Window 5 >> x 2x panels SLIDING Window 6 & 7 >> x >>> These 2x windows are currently louvre glass windows. They need to be removed and replaced with new standard OUTWARD TOPHUNG windows
Calyptus, Oak wood(could be wrong), not sure of the dimensions. It's a very old and weathered window frame that has split at one of its joints, I believe the wood swelled and the nails no longer for snugly. The glass pane also fell out recently because of this, so I would need that replaced. I don't want to replace the whole wooden frame since the home will be under full renovation in a few months, so if possible, could the split be fixed and a new window pane be installed without the treatment of the entire frame?
