I have a couple things that needs some doing, but no idea what cost is involved in doing so: (1) My complex unit does not have any neutral wires running through the light switch boxes (I would like to install some smart switches at some point and the best ones all need the neutral wire in the light switch box). There are 10 light switches (5x3 gang, 2x2 gang, 3x1 gang) I need to pull through some neutral wires, and would also like to move the on switch to the other side of the wall. (2) There are 8 wall plugs currently, but I would like to install 8 more (since each bedroom only has 1 and a couple more will be very convenient) and move two of them. I need to repaint and redo the floor in the near-ish future, so opening up the walls and floor is not an issue as long as it will be closed up again after words (3) The DB is from the 70s I think and looks and feels very dated, and although I have a COC that indicates everything is in fine working order, I would like to install/update the board to something newer at some point as well I need a quote for each of the three mentioned jobs to get an idea of what I need to budget or what I can afford currently. The property consists of 3 bedroom house and then there is a 2 bedroom granny flat that I would like to have security system installed as well as armed responses. Possibly a system that can be controlled from the telephone to switch certain sections on and off at times. Outside beams maybe x4, Door protection x 9 then inside eyes possible x 4. We have had a solar system installed in our club house and require it to be connected to the club house DB board. The club house has never been on municipal power and only had a generator. There would be some additional connections needed such as one of the out buildings to the DB board and the booster pump for the water supply.
Hi there the land is rectangular. For the purpose of the quote simply say each side is 80m. There are two gates already in place which will need to be electrified as well. The one boundary wall is made of concrete and will thus only require the top above the wall to have a few strands of fencing. I'm just trying to get a round about the amount currently so to see the feasibility. We are planning on running solar for the house and would like to know if the fence can also run on this. The fence is for keeping animals in as well as for security so it will need to be strong enough for this purpose. The property is outside Port Edward so please bare this in mind when quoting the material to be used. Cheers
I would like to have a quote on a double garage door supplied and fitted and fully automated. The professional will have to assess whether it will have to be a custom size fit as I cannot have a center post separating the doors. I must be able to fit two cars side by side specifically two double cab bakkies. I would need the entire frame work constructed from scratch for the garage door to fit onto as there is none at the moment except the carport. The professional will need to advise.

I'm a Trustee for our Body Corporate and our AGM will be held soon, before the end of July. I only wish to have a suitable quote to present at the AGM. My thoughts are to have a surveillance pole that covers Summer Place and Glendale remote gates and also cover the front wall, facing Topham road. This would be - 52 / 54 Topham road. Another thought - only surveillance coverage for certain hours? Possibly eg. daily from 10 pm to 4 am. This is just a thought and your input would be much appreciated. With all the overall high price increases - we can only afford to pay what is really necessary for certain hours - although I do realise that the daytime is just as bad. A separate thought:- Our 2 complexes are situated just across from Girls High School - their back entrance/exit into Topham road. Possibly a surveillance pole that would cover the back entrance/exit of the school as well? These separate quotes can be submitted at our AGM and we could then enquire as well if the School would be interested - should the quotes be very reasonable. With thanks,
