7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.
I need a shade net carport that can accommodate 2 cars, dimensions 7m (width) x 5.7m (depth) x 3m (entry height) . It will be free standing, i.e. no attachments to any buildings, all four sides should be secured to the ground. The structure must be made from galvanised steel. We live in Melville with tandem parking between the house and boundary wall. The width of the area is 2.6m, just enough to squeeze a car in. We can fit 2 cars back to back. We would like a quote on a wood slate carport roof to be created between the house wall and boundary wall to shade and cover the 2.6 wide space where the cars park. If the wood slats can be covered with shade cloth that would be idea. Thank you!

Looking for a vegetable/herb garden and to beautify a small brick paved area. Experience required with herbs/vegetable gardens please. Images of space below. Walkway required to get to laundry line. We have an existing shade port with a fixed front wall and 2 x side panels and an automated garage door. We have the garage door motor and 2 x fluorescent lights fitted to the roof support structure. The roof is in 2 x sections, with a flexible join in the middle. The existing material used does not provide sufficient waterproof cover. Depending on options available, we may consider replacing 2 x sides as well. Our priority is the roof area.
