Build in three sections. Main Home, section 1; office and guest room, section 2; and Granny Flat, section 3. Want to build Main Home (section 1) now with rest later as funds become available. Need to build within a budget and will have to negotiate with builder what we can do with the funds we have available. Phase 1 plan attached that we need quote on.
I need weeding, cutting lawn, clearing weeds from flower beds, some new flower planting, leaf blowing in driveway, flat roof, carport. I own an acre, mainly need top half maintained with perhaps twice a year slashing on the lower half of my property. There is a fence between the two halves, with a gate.
Plans have ben approved by council. Front Perimeter wall (segmented by "hip high" columns with a 20mm/maybe more brick upstand linking them - wooden slats - picket fence-esk style). This wall will run to the driveway gate Driveway will run the length of the house to the double garage (this will not be shown on the plans but I thought it was worth mentioning) Double Garage (dimensions of 6mx7m length) in the South East corner situated behind the main bedroom's en-suite - Flat roof, same design as the house - it will need to match the same slope etc. Rear perimeter wall (block is indicated on the plans but vibracrete will most likely be used) connecting the garage to our neighbours vibracrete wall Side perimeter wall on neighbour's boundary line (made of block - "hip high" as well approx 1m) running from the garage down the driveway to driveway gate (building line) Deck - If a separate quote could be provided on the building of a staircase leading to the deck as indicated by the plans Driveway - needs to be leveled and paved, separate quote on this can be provided as well Preferable start would be late April, early May
We have a timber frame house with ship lap cladding. we want to add a granny flat onto the side of the house, and then do some work on our main house, add a pool, add a patio and build stairs. Our house is double storey and we want to add on a unit that is the same style - split level with a small veranda in front and back. We are unsure about the size, but probably between 30 and 50 square metres.
I want to have a small (80-m2) single story, 2 bedroom house designed and built in Green Pastures Knysna and I would like a rough quote per square meter for building costs. I would also like to go and view houses built by the construction company to see how they build if possible. My budget is severely restricted so It is imperative to stay within this size range.
I would like to remove the bath and install a walk in show. Replace basin and toilet and retile the floor and walls. Install a vanity and towel rail. Window needs to be reduced and new windows installed. I already have the tiles needed. You can call or email me. I am quite busy and not always able to answer calls.
Hi We have some old Astro that is in storage that we would like to install in our school gym facility. The floor space is roughly 6m wide and 25m in length. We have an old carpet there currently that would need to be ripped out and replaced with the turf. We possibly would require a general cleaning of the turf if it is something you are able to provide. Please could you let me know
40 years ago we built a new office block but using wooden bay windows from an old Parktown mining magnate's house which was being demolished. At the time we restored the wood and repaired all the lead glass windows, however, over the years, the treatment we have been using has obviously not been any good and they are now in desperate need of repair or replacement. Please call me to discuss the problem and give us idea on the practicality of repairing or replacing these windows and possible costs. This involves a bay window frame, 8 windows and 8 fanlights. Thank you
I have a room 4,2m x 4,2m that needs a replacement wooden floor. Plus minus 18 Sqr meters. I also need a quote on the support beams. There were 9 support beams 4,4 m or 18 2,2m 40mm x mm in the floor. As well as quotes for skirting boards. 4 x 4,2m I am in Richmond KZN so please give a quote for delivery as well. I will be installing the floor as I have been a keen woodworker DIY guy for many years. What do you recommend as the most cost effective flooring solution?
We are looking at renovating our stoep area - 8m x 8m. We’d like to change the roof from a flat to pitched exposed structure and tie it in to our existing house roof structure. Also, we’d like to add 2x 3-panel sliding doors , built in braai, re-tiling the area.. is this something you could assist with? Also assist in helping with the council plans for it?
