How to choose the right architect for your house plans?
This four-step process should help you find the right architect for the job of drawing house plans.
I want to build 4x 3 bedroom houses on my Plot. I want the 2houses double garage's to join next to each other like one wall in the middle. and then on other side of yard also same. It will be like a house 1 mirrored to house 2 right next to each other, and then house 3 and 4 axcact copy of 1 and 2. I want the plans to be approved by municipality all done by the architect.
Roof has borers.Single beam, exposed timber roof. Need to replace roof. Inside the house I want to increase the size of the kitchen by 1 m in length. Want to change the sunken garage into the dining room? Outside the house Extend back of the house about 8 m in length by width 1 m... Then extend one side of the house by 1m and the length of that side is 12 m. Extend the front of the house by 3 m... the length of the front is about 8 m. Thank you. God bless. Was hoping you could help us out as well I intend to build a 3 room/lounge and bedroom with attached bathroom extension to a currently standing house. Lounge: 10 x 7m Bedroom: 7 x 7m Bathroom: 5 x 4m Please could you advise me on how much would this cost incl labour and materials etc. Please do advise the difference in cost if we build a double storey instead of single. Hi, I am considering buying a property in Rondevlei. It is a piece of land with an old farmhouse on it. I need your expertise to assess the house to see what we can do with it. I need more space either by building out or up into an attic. I dont know what the laws are, hence i need your advice. I have a single story, 3 bedroom house with a single garage. I plan to extend the house forward by 90sq or so and to build up, over the extended 90sq + an additional sq (to include the main bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms, with bath/shower etc.) of an existing home. I plan to add an additional garage as well, would like to remove the old swimming pool, and build a bigger one.
Would like to do a four bedroom 3 bathroom double story almost beach style house. Lounge dining room kitchen and main bedroom with en suite at the bottom. 3 bedrooms on top one with an en suite and 2 that share a bathroom. Smaller style lounge/ bar area ontop floor as well. Want to do a deck style outdoor section with entertainment area underneath the deck area built in braai and ground fire pit ideally the roof should extend over the deck area on top for coverage. Deck area can be wrap around. As well as an outside shower style section to wash of from when coming back from the beach. The land is square meters and sits approximately meters of the beach Boundaries are 5 meters from front of property 1.5 meters from sides and 3 meters from back of property.
I live in an existing townhouse of m2. There was an open area under the house which I enclosed to yield a store room and an all-purpose room, additional living space obtained about 35m2. I now need someone to draw up plans and submit them to council and to have these plans approved and invite quotes for this work.

To add an addition to a single story house to build up on the braai-room. At the back of the house, a open plan room to be built with en-suite bathroom and toilet and a walk in cupboard.
