Hi there I am in the process of purchasing a home. It currently has a flat sheeting roof which has started to leak. I would like to find out (more or less) what the cost would be per square meter, to convert to Harvey tiles or a tiled roof. Dear RV Smith. My name is . My roof was Very flat. You advised that it does not need corrugated iron instead you put that stuff made from tarr. Ido not know whether you call it dempkos or dampproof or what. The problem I have is that this roof produces substance that makes water from the rain brown and I have water tank to trap rain water and reduce municipal water bill. I therefore request from you what paint can I use to prevent that black tarr liquid from coming out. I do not need reroofing that is what you did.
We are moving into our new property in Rondebosch East over the next few weeks and there is a back part of the home that I need some advice on. The back part of the home has metal sheeting and I would like to extend that area roofing over the open area as well to create some privacy. Portion of roof over double volume has translucent sheeting (I think it is glass fiber installed 20 years ago: 4 sheets wide and c. 1,5 M long on both sides (E and W)) which was damaged by the recent hail storm. A small hole (± 20mm) appeared after the storm. So I guess the sheets will have to be replaced with corrugated polycarbonate sheets.

Hi team, I would like to inquire about the replacement of the frames of our verandah doors in the complex The Boulders in Ballito. We would like to get them replaced, but the glass should still be used, as that one is still in complete order. In total we have four sliding door frames to be replaced, two ground floor, two first floor. We would first start with the two bottom ones for now. It's standard opening: 2.40m x 2.08m, two panels each. I have attached a pic (sorry for the mess!🙈), so that you might not need to come to take a look at it before you can quote me. We have a 16m opening that we want glass sliding cavity doors. Height around 2.6m. Would like to get an initial idea on pricing. This is for a new property purchase we are going ahead with and so doing initial research on costs. Frame needs to be black, not sure what material is best. Not sure on how many panels either, so can give me suggestion based on the space.
