Replacement for hinged old double wooden doors with cottage pane windows. cm high wide and about 20 cm depth of the wall. Considering aluminium replacement. Prefer NOT just full plain glass from a security perspective BUT will consider it as an option, please. What hinged options do you have? Not a supporter of sliding doors from a security perspective alone. Security of the door is key, the nature of the door itself, the security of locking, etc. House has a lot of wooden cottage panes! We have a Hollywood type garage and would like to install a double garage door. The roof is a corrugated roof structure and is close to the opening of the carport, a roller shutter door type will not fit, so the installation should be based on a slidding type track. We have been looking at Chromadec or alternatively Alu-zinc type door, preferably the Double Charcoal 40 Panel type door.

I have a wooden garage door and it has a motor but currently it is removed and we are lifting the door by hand and it is very heavy and dangerous. The wheels along the side are also not in good condition. I was hoping for someone to come see it in person for free and we will gladly pay for it to get fixed.
The front door to my property is rotting and I need to replace it. The property is part of a sectional title so it need to be compliant with all the other doors in the complex. I am in need for someone to supply and install 2 external wooden doors. They must be experienced in this. one door opens outward and will need a strip down the length of the door that covers the opening to prevent the door from being forced open from the outside. Door frame size is cm x 81cm Other door opens inward to the loft room and is shorter than standard. frame size cm x 81cm Both doors have good hinges but need decent handles and secure outdoor locks. Need a double door opening to outside. Currently there is a wood and glass door and frame in the position, would like it replaces with aluminium and glass doors and frame. There is a hole in the bottom timber section of double garage door. My husband has taken a look and the wood does not seem to be rotten. We need someone to offer some advice and let us know whether repairs are even possible and how much it cost. The garage door would be at my son's house in Fourways.
1 Standard Double Sectional Automated lift door with draughtproofing. The existing Double is of the 40 raised panel type single up and over and will remain in place until all new brickwork is completed 3 mtrs forward of existing door and new door to be fitted before removal of the old door. This is for security reasons. This installation/removal is subject to planning approval and completion of new brickwork and roofing not earlier than September/October time.
