The divorce was uncontested until I gave the settlement agreement to my soon to be ex-husband. He is refusing maintenance (we have been separated for 14 months and has not paid anything towards his child). I am solely paying towards my son. I am charged with the following: 1. Assault common 2. Malicious Injury to Property I did not commit these charges, a complainant is trying to implicate me. I only grabbed a bag because a rider was refusing to pay a trip fare after I had transported her in an Uber platform. The grabbing of a hand bag was done to get the attention of the client. In the process of grabbing a bag, she pulled it forcefully from my hands but since the grip was too tight the hand bag got damaged. As for the assault and malicious Injury; no I did not commit these incidents. My criminal case was held on 28 February at Pietermaritzburg Magistrate Court. Its a case of harassmen. It going on for a few months. I did not have representation cause i could not afford it. The hearing is on 12 March . I lodged the claim of harassment againts a gentleman and he has an attorney defending the case against it. I have provided recorded verbal messages that were sent to me. It seems that its not suffiecient to prove my case.
