How long does an architectural project typically last?
Let's go over the timeline for the construction of a new family home.
I requested a certain builder to build for me. Niw he left the job incomplete so I need a qoute from you for the folowing task. 1. Installing 9 normal doors and one pivot door. 2. Fixing wallls, spaces to insert 10 windows in each room are not at the centre of the walls. 3. To intall garage ramb which is 6 x 4 sqaure meters. 4. To complete walls up to the roof level ( currently the height level of the wall which is slready there is 8 brick block up . 5. To complete walls for 1.8 x 1 meter toilet.
I am looking at creating and outdoor patio, approximately 20 squared meters, I will lay the slab and the construction for the roof will need support in the front (Pillars or Steel) but will be against a 5 Meter boundary wall as support on the back, this is urgent i am just looking at costing at the moment. Concrete slab or Tile Roof Please see attached picture which will give you an idea.
I currently have 2 separate doors outomated with one centered Gemini motor. The current roll-up steel doors are old and grinding it out every time we open it. The doors either have to be replaced with 2 new doors, or have to be replaced with one solid door with a new motor. The current motor is however fine. I need advice and a quote to take an informed decision to make a change-over. Uncertain ito steel or alluminium and price/quality difference. Please contact me.
I removed the tiles from the floor of my balcony as I had water problems in my braairoom below the balcony. I then sloped the balcony floor away from building walls and made the water exit holes bigger with more slope. I now need waterproofing on the floor of balcony. Question: If I want to use the balcony, can I walk on your waterproofing ??
We have a house at Zimbali that we rent out and needs a few touch up, paint from dampness, outside maintenance (wall cleaning etc) painting on the inside, check the roof for any damages as there is dampness coming through, painting inside, bathroom ceiling, cornices, cupboard shelves to be replaced etc.
1. Connect the cabin to the main building of the home to increase the space in the living room 2. Change the roof and with that break the middle wall separating the lounge and kitchen 3. move the kitchen to back of the wall so it faces the living room in an open plan style 4. Rework the roof configuration to express an A-frame look, with a window to let light in at the apex 5. Extend the roof over the patio to bring that area in as a living space 6. A part glass enclosure facing the pool 7. Extension of the main bedroom- a space in front and behind might provide added living space in the master suite below if budget allows 8. Wood cladding aesthetic on the walls to give a modern barn style look 9. Total Roof Area is +- m2 of which only 40m2 is 2nd floor at 45 degree pitch. The rest is flat. I am looking for removal of existing composite fibre roof and replace with AZ 0.53mm profile corrugated colorbond/colourplus roof sheets. +-35 sheets x 3.4m in length. insolation to be installed included.

I am unable to take calls but I am reachable on email and Whatsapp. I have rooms in my area which need to be reconstructed. They are in poor condition now but I want to improve them by increasing their size, including a bathroom, sink, giza, good ceiling and tiles. I want to know the possible cost and then gather the amount. The only limit might be sizing, the size of the yard might not allow increasing of the size.
I have an old house that needs a face lift. It’s a 3 bedroom house. I need a quote on removing a wall between the kitchen and lounge to create an open plan space. I also need a quote on removing a wall between the toilet room and bathroom to create a one bathroom. We’d like to change the floors from carpet to vinyl throughout the house and update the popcorn walls to flat walls. Some of the walls have cracks in them and I’m not sure if they can just be plastered. We’d also like to update the bathroom and kitchen by adding new cabinets, basins, etc. Basically a full renovation. We are simply looking for quotes at this stage as we’d like to know how much we need before we can begin with the renovations
