Old building and I am wanting to redo the bathrooms, x2 and tiles in the lapa (10 x 10 m) and carports (3 cars and boat and caravan)

There is a huge crack on the wall, top to bottom. Repair work to wall needed. We live on a Farm and was advised that the wall needs to be braced. I need the Pro's advise on whether plans are needed or what options we have.
