When do I need a building permit in South Africa?
In South Africa, building applications for the construction of property and land use are highly regulated.
i need the bathrooms X 2 renovated, fitted with a new cabinets, toilet set and the ceiling to be fixed and the floors and wall tiling thereof. there is also an outside toilet which needs to be fitted with a new set. The ceiling for the whole house needs to be redone, 2 bedrooms, living room , dining room and the kitchen. The 3 bedrooms to be tilled. thanks
I’d like to experiment with rammed earth and mud flooring for this project. The project is to extend an attic space and its small balcony into a larger room with a workspace & to ensure that the structure is sitting strong. I’d also like to renovate the flooring for the room beneath the attic. I have attached some reference images for what I would like the space to look like. This is a very old property and it’s one of those old Hutton properties where everything needs to get sorted out from the electrical stuff I mean the electrics in the house is just appalling it needs a solar rooftop thing, there’s air locks in in the system so there’s often times where we don’t get water. There’s a lot that needs to be done
I want to break down my bathroom wall and extend the bathroom onto the porch. The porch will then be extended towards the the boundary of the yard. I want to build a boundary wall that sort of links with the porch through steps from the outside. There should not be any space between the porch and the boundary wall.

I would like to build a 5 bedroom modern steel framed house in a village on a tribal land. I have already bought the land (60m x 30m). I estimate the house to take up approximately sqm as it has to be a double storey. I have attached a pictures to provide an idea of the kind of a home I am looking to build.

Goodday I have drawn a sketch of what I would like I would be happy to send so you can have an idea of what I would like. It's one block of flat containing 2 units on ground floor and two units on first floor each unit is 36sqm in size containing all identical in design. Another is a ground floor single unit not yet sure of size. And two other ground floor units of 25sqm each in size. Regards
