He adhered to the agreed deadlines and prices. He even proposed innovative solutions for parts of paving. He also took into account all of our additional wishes. I’m very satisfied with the job done.
We were satisfied with the work, as well as with the price.
Professionals. They stuck to deadlines and prices. If we ever need it again, we will opt for the same contractor again.
Concreting and paving can both make big differences to your space. They each come with their own sets of pros and cons, so your decision shouldn’t be based on price alone. Standard concrete slabs are generally cheaper per square meter; however, the long term costs for repairs and replacements often exceed the initial savings in upfront costs.
You can’t lay pavers directly on dirt, so there’s a little more to the job than simply laying some stones onto the ground. Preparing the ground properly will prevent sinks and cracks from appearing in the surfaces later on, and it will also prevent the growth of weeds between the pavers. Prep-work for paving usually involves measuring the area to be paved and laying out a thin layer of road base evenly over the entire area (this can be done with a shovel or a levelling rake). After this, the surface is dampened with water and – with the help of a plate compactor – is compacted to a depth of about 10mm. Once this has been completed, sand can be laid and leveled over the surface and the area is ready to be paved.
Unlike many other driveway applications, such as asphalt or concrete, once the pavers are compacted and sanded, you can immediately drive on them. Asphalt and concrete have to set and cure before you can use them.

I wanted to request the advice and a quotation. We have damp coming through the concrete floor, and have been advised that the main problem is that the paving around the house is directing rain water towards the house rather than away from it. We would therefore need to reset the paving and possibly consider other aspects of drainage For your urgent consideration.
We are a logistics company that just purchased a warehouse and we are looking to turn this warehouse into a truck yard. There is some areas and paving on the premises that needs to be patched up and we also need some removal of rubble and need to just clean the place up a bit. This is a bit urgent as we have a client coming to the site on Thursday and we need this to be done before then.

Hi, I would like the verge around my property paved if within budget. Im keen on cobblestone pavers, but open to a more budget friendly option. It's hard to keep people from parking on this area, but if they do it's needs to be able to withstand a car. I would like little maintenance on this paving. Currently there is lawn, so in the long run would paving save me money than maintaining a lawn.
Good Day, I need two driveways paved (Please note that one driveway has a tar surface that has broken up and needs to be paved, the other has no existing surface) I would like them to be paved with square cobbles with earth tone colours, supplied by Smart Stone. Please contact me regarding quotations for this project.
