I have a very small business which has been operational for 2 years (turnover less than R per annum). It started as a passion project and to earn a little extra income aside from my profession. However, I am taking it more seriously and I am not very clued up about taxes. The business is registered with CIPC and has a tax number, however I have not submitted returns nor paid any taxes for the 2 years that it is in operation. I would like guidance from a professional on how to best structure my business taxes. I have also been transferring money from my business bank account to my personal bank account over these 2 years which I know will affect my personal taxes (personal taxes up to date). INCOME TAX FROM SALARY. The company I work for hired an Accounting firm to do their tax services and Payroll, the company ended up not doing things so well, my company then decided to fire them. My employer will now be paying our salaries as usual but we will be responsible for our own personal tax submissions and that is something that I need help with. I am able to do it myself but I do not want to and would rather have a professional handle that for me.

All my TB's are absolutely correct. But I need someone to submit provisionals, and tax. Also, my experience is, that smallwr companies doesn't really need their AFS, at fin year end. When they need to buy vehicles, overdraft, or such financial assistance. The financial institutions, doesn't want to work with management statements, but current AFS. This would mean, that the client would need to pay for AFS, at fin year end, and then, again, later through the year. I'm just starting up. I do all my own footwork and submissions. The above mentioned store was previously registered in my fathers name. My Father has been ill for a year now and we decided to move the store to my moms name. I am not sure if the previous account has submitted the returns to date before my mom took over the store and I would also need assistance in submitting the current tax returns.
